Dos Victorias is a two-woman operation headed by Victoria Pariente and Victoria Benavides. The two Victorias, who gave their name to the winery, both have a solid technical background, and after working in several fields intimately linked with wine, they made the decision of putting into bottle what had been in their minds. This operation is based on extremely meticulous vineyard management from pruning to the harvest.
The vineyard is in the village of La Seca in the province of Valladolid, which has the best climatic conditioned soils in the Rueda district. Although the climate is continental, with hot summers, the grapes are grown at altitudes of 500m above sea level, ensuring cool nights that protect the aromatic intensity of the grapes.
